Washington Administrative Code- Regulations of executive branch agencies are issued by authority of statutes. Like legislation and the Constitution, regulations are a source of primary law in Washington State. The WAC codifies the regulations and arranges them by subject or agency. The online version of the WAC is updated twice a month. Washington State Constitution- The plan for the operation of Washington State government. It describes the three branches of government (executive, legislative and judicial). It also defines what rights are guaranteed to the people. The State Constitution is the highest law of the State, although it must also work in compliance with the federal Constitution. The online version of the State Constitution is updated once a year if the electorate has adopted an amendment at the last general election. | |
